Modeling career

Lim made a debut as a model (TTL Girl) for SK Telecom in 1999 when she was still in high- school. TTL is a mobile phone service mostly targeting for the younger generation (especially under the 20s). Since then, Lim has become a famous cultural icon. She appeared on a series of TTL ads.[3] Her mysterious look and clean image attracted many people, and eventually this popularity.

Acting career

Unfortunately, Resurrection of the Little Match Girl was a boxoffice flop even though it received mixed review results. Her acting was plain and not so impressive. Both critics and audiences merely regarded her performance there as a re-play of her image-oriented works on the former TTL commercials.

Nevertheless, she continued participating into four Korean movies as leading lady by 2005. Her most successful film was teenage comedy Conduct Zero. Lim starred as a Ryu Seung-beom's high-school girl friend, Minhee. In this movie, she tried to change her fixed image into more lively one. In 2004, Lim challenged the new territory of Horror film genre and played the ghost roles on Doll Master and Sisily 2km. Although they did not get the positive reactions that Conduct Zero did, Lim could improve some acting skills.

Lim also took part in KBS weekend drama Bodyguard in 2003 and short-lived MBC sitcom Rainbow Romance in 2005. Currently, she is looking for another roles in the movies.
